Join us on 2/27/2027 for a beautiful 5K run beginning at Ocean Walk Singer Island across the 65 feet high Blue Heron Bridge. This challenging and incredibly scenic course takes runners up and over the Blue Heron Bridge with views of Peanut Island and the Port of Palm Beach, returning back over the bridge and finishing at Ocean Walk on Singer Island.

RACE BENEFICIARY
Bridge the Gap 5K is a College for Kids, Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County, and TradeUp sponsored event. Funds raised through this event provide two-year college and vocational scholarships for underserved students in Palm Beach County, as well as mentoring, academic guidance, and career opportunities that prepare them for success in college, the skilled trades, and beyond.
Our Three Programs, One Mission, opens up pathways for underserved students in Palm Beach County. We transform lives by providing students with personalized mentoring, financial support, and guided exploration of career and college pathways. From middle school to postsecondary achievement, we partner with students to help them discover their potential and pursue meaningful futures, whether through higher education or skilled trades.

Picking up for more than 3 people? Please send us a list of all names to madeleine@k2roadsports.com by 6PM the day before pickup so we can prepare the packets in advance.

RACE DAY
The race will start at 7:30AM.
Parking
There is plenty of parking in the Ocean Mall parking a lot and across the street in the Singer Island Corporate Center parking garage. Signs will be posted.
Will there be water stations on the course?
Yes, there will be 2 water stations on the course.
What can I expect at the finish line?
Bottled water and finisher medals will be handed out at the finish line.

PRE-RACE
Will you offer any pre-race snacks?
Yes, there will be coffee, bananas, bagels and cream cheese available at Castaways Bar & Grill.
POST-RACE
Will you offer any post-race snacks?
Yes, there will be food available at Castaways Bar & Grill. That will include (2) breakfast buffet lines, serving eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy. There will also be a choice of beer or seltzer available at the bar for 21+. Runners will need to use the tear-offs on their race bibs to obtain food and beverage.
Where will I find the race results?
Use the QR code on the race bib for race results.
I won an award. Will there be an awards ceremony?
Congratulations! We have a beautiful award for you at the conclusion of the run on the oceanside sidewalk.
