Hurricane Half/Tropical Storm 10K/Gale Force 5K

RUN FLORIDA'S BLUE MOUNTAIN IN THE BEAUTIFUL PANHANDLE!

This is a runner's weekend! Two days of running at Grayton Beach, on the recreation trails along 30A, and in and out of Blue Mountain Beach. This is a very cool, funky, eclectic part of the Sunshine State! A distance for every runner or walker...of all ages! 

Gale Force 5K

On Saturday, October 6 , 2018, we present the Gale Force 5K.

Kick off your Saturday morning with the Gale Force 5K at 8:00 am. The race shirts for the Gale Force 5K are short sleeve cotton Comfort Color (or similar) uni-sex shirts. Race awards are overall and age group.

Hurricane 1/2 Marathon and Tropical Storm 10K

On Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 7:00 am join us for The Hurricane 1/2 Marathon & Tropical Storm 10K! The 1/2 and 10K begin at and wind through funky Grayton Beach and beautiful white sand dune lakes. Both turn around at Watercolor and retrace the course with the 10K ending where it started and the 1/2 continuing up the infamous Blue Mountain...OK, it’s not really a mountain...this is Florida...but the roads and trails do gain some elevation. No worries there though because it means a mostly “downhill” finish. There are finisher's awards for both the 10K and the 1/2 and awards for both races are overall and age group. All runners registered by September 26, 2018 will receive long sleeve uni-sex cotton Comfort Color (or similar) shirts. We plan to offer other products such as hats, hoodies, and extra shirts at an additional cost over the race weekend.

 Run 2 Days For CAT 4 or CAT 5 Runner Awards

Want more?? Run the 5K on Saturday and the 10K on Sunday and you'll be a CAT 4 Runner  and you'll receive an award designating you as such. More? You can run the 5K on Saturday and the 1/2 marathon on Sunday and be a CAT 5 Runner and receive an award designating you as such.

 First 25 Registered

The first 25 registered for the 1/2, Cat 4 or Cat 5 races will receive a hat or visor!

 Extras!!

At present, we plan to offer race related extras..hats or hoodies or such..for sale over the race weekend. Don’t miss these one of a kind race accessories!
