Support Surfside 5K

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to the overwhelming response and support of our Surfside neighbors, we have been forced to move the event to a larger facility.  The Support Surfside 5K will now be held at Markham Park - 16001 W State Road 84, Sunrise, FL, 33326

June 24, 2021 is a day that will never be forgotten in South Florida.  Hundreds of lives were immediately changed forever, while many more will be affected for a long time.  There are certain instances that we are needed to show support to our neighbors. We can all put aside differences and come together for something bigger than all of us, and this is one of those times.  We need to all come together and show our Surfside neighbors and let them know they are not alone.

We are hosting the Support Surfside 5K on Saturday July 31, 2021 at Markham Park.  The 5K will begin at 7:30am.  The 5K will be a chipped timed event with awards provided for the Top 3 overall, masters, and age groups.  We hope to see the most avid of runners at the event but also want to see those in the community how want to show our Surfside friends that they care.  You can run, walk, or just stand at the start/finish line to show your support.  All participants will receive an personalized commemorative #SurfsideStrong race bib, event shirt, and finisher medal.

The event age groups will be as follows:

MALE/FEMALE Overall, Masters, 1-8; 9-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79;80+
