(The Fastest Mile Course Around)
The Mile Run Starts at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2022. When the calendar turns to November, The Tallahassee Turkey Trot is not far behind. A good thing should last at least a month, so let’s start early with a downhill mile. This will be the sixth running of the Rex Cleveland Magic! Mile. The Capital Cascades Bridge has been an exciting addition to the fantastic trail system and network of parks we have in the Big Bend area. Why shouldn't we have race that highlights this great addition?
This will be the fastest mile course in Tallahassee. Starting from one of the highest points in Tallahassee (near the Myers Park tennis courts), runners and walkers of all ages are invited to take the Rex Cleveland Magic Mile plunge downhill through Myers Park and across the Capital Cascades bridge finishing near the iconic TLH sign on S. Adams.
Register online by November 4 before a price increase. Race day registration begins at 3:30 p.m., at Myers Park.
Proceeds from this race will help fund youth running programs.
