Level Up Cycling Movement’s Tropical Breeze Fondo is presented by Commissioner Mike Gelin and the City of Tamarac. 

There are two rides to choose from. Each ride is designed to be fun, safe and controlled.

60 Mile Tropical Breeze Fondo 

7:00AM - Riders will ride alongside 10x National Champ Rahsaan Bahati and 6x California State Champ Charon Smith in this timed, non stop, fast paced ride. Riders will use a high speed chip that must be attached to the seat post of the bike. The ride will be led by police escorts. This ride will have a 4 mile neutral roll out from City Hall. Timing begins at the top of Mile 4. Sheriff will make every attempt to control the lights for the duration of the ride but there are no guarantees. Riders must wear BIB number and chip. Road bikes only for this ride. E-Bikes, tandem bikes, Triathlon bikes (or bars) are not permitted on this ride. 100 Riders Max

7:05AM - 100% Social Ride led by Sheriff Escort. Speeds 19-22mph. Riders will stop for nutrition break and then head back to City Hall. Riders are required to wear BIB numbers. This ride is not chip timed. 100 Rider Max
