Description
EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
We have something for everyone!
Cycle a 25k/50k/100k or a dual challenge , a 25k cycle ride and 5k run, or chose between a 5k/10k run or walk.. The cycle event is a ride and not a race and the 5k/10k run has the option to be timed or untimed.
Everyone gets a finishing medal and the 5k/10k will award medals to the top 3 males and females in 14 age categories. Run and ride along the beautiful waterfront from Ft. DeSoto to Clearwater along the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
We ride for all those fighting to find a cure for brain tumors. We ride for Scott Buchanan, Brian Oliver, Tyler Yeckley, April Branam, Michele DeJong, Weston, Amanda Gammisch, Chris Elly, Emma Marques, Margaret Christ and Denise McCormick Howell to name some of our families. These are all local people who have either lost their battle, are fighting the battle and are survivors. There are so many other families who need us to find a cure and YOU can be an integral part of this cure.
All runners and cyclists will receive an event t-shirt and finishing medal. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered by October 30, 2017.
We will have water stops for cyclists that will include water, sports drink and snack bars.
Runners will have water stops including water and sports drink. Join as after the races for beer and food, music and celebration.
