Race Logistics
Bib pickup (bring confirmation email + ID) — two options:
- (ENCOURAGED) Skip the lines on race day and pick up your bibs a day early on September 11th at Salt Lake Running Co. (2454 S 700 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106) from 4-6pm.
- 8AM on Race Day at Big Field Pavilion.
The race starts at 9:30AM sharp at the Big Field Pavilion — please arrive early.
Parking
Parking will be available throughout Sugar House Park. Parking on E Sugarhouse Park M Road will be available until 8:45, or until the spots closest to the pavilion are filled, whichever happens first. Therefore, if you plan to leave before 11, please utilize one of the lots other than the one at Big Field Pavilion because your vehicle will be stuck there.
Event Schedule
- 6:30AM - Volunteer Arrival
- 6:45-7:30AM - Vendor Arrival
- 8:00AM – Registration/bib pickup opens at Big Field Pavilion (arrive early!). Music by DJ MCK!
- 9:00AM - Registration closes, Bibpickup remains open
- 9:20AM – Announcements & National Anthem at Start Line
- 9:30AM – 5K Start. Non-runners: enjoy music and activities at the Big Field Pavilion or cheer on your runners!
- 10:45AM – Post-race awards at Big Field Pavilion (top overall finishers, top age group finishers, Chirichella Adaptive Division winners)
- 11:30AM – End of event

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! If we run out on Race Day, please email us at 5k@flutiefoundation.org and we will mail one to you. PLEASE NOTE: only participants who register by 8/12 are guaranteed a shirt in their size on race day.
If your child will be 6 years or older on race day, please register them for the event. We offer age-based discounts for youth aged 6-14 years.
If your child will be under 6 years on race day, you do not need to register them unless you want them to receive their own shirt and/or medal.
Yes, park facilities will be open and are nearby the start/finish area.
There will be one water station on the course.
The Start/Finish is located here on the road near Big Field Pavilion.

Yes, they will just need your confirmation email/QR code you received on the date of your registration from runsignup.
To stay within rules and safety regulations set by local officials and the Flutie 5K for Autism, only certified service dogs may be allowed on the course.
As of today, Race Day registration is still being offered at checkin starting at 8AM on Race Day.
Parking is available throughout Sugar House Park.
Yes - for safety reasons, however, please make sure you are registered in on of the 'Roll' categories.
