Kara Goucher
Kara Goucher is an American long-distance runner, author, television commentator, and podcaster. She was the 10,000 meters silver medalist at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics and represented the US at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2012 London Olympics. She made her marathon debut in 2008 and finished third the following year at the Boston Marathon.
She competed collegiately for the University of Colorado and was a three-time NCAA champion (twice in track and once in cross country). Kara now resides in Boulder.
Dr. Ray Browning
Dr. Ray Browning, former CSU professor, is a fitness expert, biomechanist and former professional triathlete. He focuses on motivating and educating people to live healthy and active lifestyles.
During his career as a professional triathlete, he captured seven Ironman titles and was the 1993 Mountain Man Winter Triathlon champion.
He has been part of the development of modern carbon-plated racing shoes and Nike's Breaking2 project.
Brittany Charboneau
Brittany Charboneau, known as "The Funny Runner," is celebrated for her unique blend of athleticism and humor. A trained comedian and improv performer, Brittany uses acting and comedy to run faster. She themes each race and many of her training blocks—dropping into a new character each time.
Brittany aims to inspire others to "own their weird" and find joy in their unique paths. She amplifies her contributions to the running community as a coach, proudly sharing her expertise and passion with aspiring athletes. Brittany lives nearby in Denver.
Craig Depperschmidt, PT, DPT, PRC
Craig is a local physical therapist who specializing in the treatment and prevention of running-related injuries. He graduated with an integrative physiology degree from University of Colorado and then received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. He has practiced PT in Fort Collins since 2009. He specializes in addressing movement and postural dysfunction that leads to abnormal bio-mechanics and pain. He enjoys working with runners, triathletes, and anyone who has a desire to feel better.
Craig is one of the relatively few clinicians, in Colorado and world-wide, who is Postural Restoration Certified™. He also is an instructor for the Postural Restoration Institute.
