About The Race
This year, UGA's Pre-Veterinary Club will be supporting the 501(c)(3) organization, Athens Pets. The money raised from this 5K will assist with the extraordinary medical expenses of shelter animals and spay/neuter fund.
The 20th Annual Dawg Jog has a new location for 2026 - Dudley Park and the Firefly Trail!

Dogs are welcome....
Provided they are vaccinated, well behaved and leashed at all times. Waste must be properly picked up and disposed of.
Course
The course starts and finishes on the Firefly Trail near the sunflowers and runs an out and back along the Firefly Trail.

What if it Rains?
We get wet! Start of the race may be delayed in 15 minute increments in the event of storms or bad weather. Sorry, no refunds due to weather.
