Spring is the perfect time for spring cleaning and self-care -- now you can do both at once!
First Option Mortgage presents the Spring Into Action! Virtual 5K!
Dates: April 4th, 2022 through April 30th, 2022
Race Fee: $35, includes race T-Shirt!
Prizes: The top MALE and FEMALE runners will each receive $100 towards their choice of either A) maid service for spring cleaning OR B) landscaping/gardening supplies to get that yard in perfect spring shape!**
All proceeds from the race will be donated to HomeAid Atlanta. HomeAid’s mission is to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education. HomeAid Atlanta is a local affiliate of HomeAid.
A virtual race is very similar to a live race - you register, you run (on the honor system), you get a shirt in support of a great cause! But they differ from live events because you get to complete your run from anywhere you like...the neighborhood, the treadmill, track, country roads, etc. You can also run it whenever you want, from April 4th through April 30th!
To submit your time, a link is provided for you in your confirmation email. Just click on " Manage Your Registration," and follow the prompts. You can even post a pic! In order to be considered for the Top Male or Female time, you must also submit proof of your time and distance (screenshot from running app, apple watch, fitbit, photo of tracker, etc.) by submitting a photo via email to sayhello@myfirstoption.com.
*Prizes will be awarded in the form of gift cards towards one of the following: Merry Maids, The Home Depot, Lowe's Home Improvement. If these options are not available in your area, race organizers will coordinate to find a suitable substitute.
