This is a virtual event that can take place anywhere in America even in the comfort of your own home. Each race participant makes a commitment to walk or run and pledge to donate $3 a mile. Registrants opt to walk or run a 3K (1.82 miles), 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles). The minimum donation starts at $6, rounding 1.82 miles in a 3K to 2 miles. For more generous givers can give in 3 categories: SILVER donations of $50, GOLD donations of $75 and PLATNUM donations of $100. All participants have one week to complete the walkathon beginning June 6th at 6:00AM and ending on Saturday, June 13th at 11:59PM. Registration is FREE for this event.
