Description
This is the 1st annual 5K Run with the goal to empower and educate the people of Empash, Kenya. The funds raised will help create sustainable supply of water and to increase availability, accessibility, and hygiene by drilling a well in Empash community. This project is critical step in building a “Life Center”, a learning and development center for this remote community with no access to school, clean water and health services.
$60 per family... enter both adults as separate entries and complete entries at day of the event.
Online Registration will be open until Race Day Sept 9, 2017 or you can register on Packet pick up. T-shirts will be available but cannot guarantee size.
Packet pick up will be held:
Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5pm - 7pm @ Bonaire First Baptist Church
Same Day Registration starts at 7:00 am, $25.00 per person, $60 per family
AWARDS will be given to top 3 Male and Female overall, and then top 3 in the following age categories by gender:
8 & Under, 9 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 - 79, 80 & over
2 fluid stations during the course. First one hosted by Roots Turf and Ornamental and Conner Suttles State Farm insurance agent by the RR Tracks off Pecan St., Second one at the corner of Old Perry and Azalea Ave.
