Let the Praises Ring 5k (Run for God)

Come on ring those bells as we Run for God in the 1st annual "Let the Praises Ring 5k," Run for God sanctioned event, benefiting the Flint River FCA, Fellow Christian Athletes (www.flintriverfca.org). Our mission is to prepare people to be better witnesses for Christ physically, mentally, and spiritually. 

The Let the Praises Ring 5k is also partnering with Soles4Souls, Inc. Soles4Souls is a nonprofit organization which is making its mark on the world by collecting gently-used footwear and dist

ributing it to the poor and victims of natural disasters. (www.giveshoes.org) Gently-used running shoes can be dropped off at the start and finish lines on the day of the race.

Additional Information:
This professionally timed event will begin at the First Baptist Church of Centerville. T-shirts, Run for God bracelets, distance stickers and Run for God dog tags for all who register by November 30th for the event. Those registering after then or day of race will receive a shirt on a first come, first serve basis. 

Award categories are as follows: 

Overall Male, Female and Masters
First, Second, and Third Place for the following age groups: 
8 and Under 9-12 years old; 13-19 years old; 20-29 years old; 30-39 years old; 40-49 years old; 50-59 years old; 60-69 years old; and 70+

Check-in and packet pickup will begin at 6:45 am-7:45 am in the parking lot of First Baptist Church of Centerville.
