Dream Mile is back In-Person in Atlanta!
We are very excited to have everyone back this year! Considering the ongoing risk of coronavirus, we would like to follow all state and local guidelines to prevent the spread, and we strongly encourage all participants abide by these regulations. A virtual event will also be held for anyone who is uncomfortable participating in person. Participants are also able to participate in both events simultaneously.
What is Dream Mile?
The Dream Mile is a Run / Walk Fundraiser event for Vibha, with an anticipated participation greater than 5000 patrons across the world. The Dream Mile started in Atlanta in 1998 to support underprivileged children in their dreams (ambitions?). Over the last 23 years, the Dream Mile has become a permanent fixture on the calendars of runners in various cities across America. To date, the Dream Mile has raised more than $3M to support upwards of 180,000 children. In addition to the causes above, the Dream Mile puts funds towards a cause in the local community in which it takes place such as Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta or Communities in Schools Chicago.
Who is it for?
The Dream Mile is for anyone who would like to walk or run a few miles to empower the dreams of underprivileged children.
