Description
Meet Hayden & Logan...two brothers (they're 2 of 3...yes, they're triplets) who went in together with all the money they had saved over 4 years of working weekends to buy Clifford (The Big Red Truck) a few months after they turned 16.
We're now almost one year later, and Clifford needs a good bit of repairs. True to their nature, they didn't want a hand out...they wanted to earn the money to keep Clifford taking them back and forth to school, band, work, and the myriad of other after school activities that today's High School students do.
Hence...The Save Clifford 5K.
"We want to do a night race...because the glow in the dark races are our favorite!"
We've reserved the quiet streets of Downtown Dawsonville, GA...And we've secured all of the Five Star gear to put on the biggest & bestest glow event you can imagine. Glow lights, music, finish line refreshments, loads of fun, and it's just $5 to run. We're even going to have some awards for the 3 fastest M/F winners.

Event Beneficiary
Hayden & Logan are working pretty much every aspect of the event...before, during, and after. They've been working race events since 2009, and will be putting all the money earned towards making sure Clifford will continue to get them where they need to go.
They've decided that any monies earned above & beyond what Clifford needs will go to "some other High Schooler in need of transportation help."

- An awesomely big clock set up for everyone to see their time as they come across the finish line.

Groups & Teams
What's better than coming to a Glow in the Dark race? Coming with a load of friends.
Virtual 5K
Can't make it out to the event site on race day? Still want to participate and have a shot at an award? Or maybe you saw the shirt and said: "Sweet...I want one!"
Then the virtual race is for you.
Here's how it works:
1. Register for the Virtual division & Start Training
2.The day before the race you'll receive instructions & a link to submit your race time
3. Submit your race time by end of race day
4. The day after the race results (Virtual Runner division) will be posted online
5. Monday after the race you'll receive an email with a link to the results & any pictures.
6. Monday after the race we'll package up all the T-shirts, medals, and Keepsake Bibs; and put them in the mail.

Five Star 5K Championships & Turkey Trot
- All participants will be eligible for free entry into the Five Star Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day.
- Top finishers will earn a spot in the Five Star 5K championships to be held on 1/6/19.
Event Courtesy Policy & Refund Policy
Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final...we're sorry, but there are no transfers, deferments, or refunds.
