Lemonade Days 5k - Cancelled for 2020
Runners and Walkers,
I hope that this email finds you and your family well and enjoying Summer despite the limitations we face.
The City of Dunwoody has cancelled the Lemonade Days festival for 2020. This was decided after much deliberation and was based on the safety concerns due to COVID-19.
With this said, the City of Dunwoody asked us not to produce the Lemonade Days 5k for 2020.
As the race management company, much of the event production fees have already been spent.
Below are your options going forward:
- Receive a 50% refund on your 2020 race fee
- Donate your race fees to the Dunwoody Preservation Trust, the partner organization for the 5k.
Please let us know your preference by September 1, 2020.

Description
In partnership with the 20th annual Lemonade Days festival hosted by Dunwoody Preservation Trust (DPT), we invite you to our Lemonade Days 5k race. All festival proceeds are used within the community for historic preservation and education.
This is a mostly flat course that winds through the woods, crosses bridges, and takes you through yet another park, all in 3.1 miles. The race starts on a closed street. After about 0.5 miles you make a left and run the rest of the race on a wide concrete path. You finish by the pavillion and where the festival takes place!

Packet pickup will be at Big Peach Running Co. - Marietta on Thursday, April 23th from 6pm-8pm. You can always pick it up race morning at the race venue too if needed.
After online registration closes, the walk-up and race morning fee is $40 per runner.
No refunds, deferrals, or transfers are allowed.
We do not mail race shirts, swag bags, or awards.

The Lemonade Days Festival will run from April 22-26, 2020.
Featuring more than 30 full-scale carnival rides, more than 20 fabulous food and beverage vendors, three days of center stage performances and the popular Dunwoody Idol contest, Lemonade Days is a Dunwoody Signature Event that has become a highlight of the city’s calendar and its most popular family event of the year.
