Race for the Rescues 5K & Fun Run

Race day registration is available starting at 7:30 AM! Please come and join us for a great run and fun time!

Race for the Rescues 5K & Fun Run. The Fun Run will start at 8:30 AM.  The 5K will start at 9:15 AM. We encourage everyone to bring their dogs for this run to benefit rescue pets. After the race stick around for awards, prizes, food, beverage, lots of vendors and much more!! 

Start Times:

The Fun Run (one mile) will start at 8:30 AM & the 5K will start at 9:15 AM on Main Street. We encourage everyone to bring their dogs for this run to benefit rescue pets.

Race Goodies:

All competitors who register early will receive the Race for the Rescues T-Shirt (late registration and day of only while supplies last) & Runners Bags.

There will be trophies/prizes awarded to the top finishers for both Men and Women Overall/Masters and in age groups - 3 deep. Awards will be given to the Top 3 Dogs crossing the finish line in the 5K.

Packet Pick-Up:

Participants who register online, In-store at Fleet Feet Lawrenceville Square Location, or via mail can pick-up their race number in advance at Fleet Feet Lawrenceville Sqaure location: Friday, May 8th; 4pm to 7pm. Or pick-up their race number on the day of the race at Tribble Mill Park beginning at 7:30 am.      *All Registrations AFTER 5:00PM on Thursday, May 7th, will ONLY be available for Pick Up on Race Day Morning. NO race numbers are mailed. The 5K race is chip timed by Runners Fit Race Works.

Fun Run:

The Fun Run will start at 8:30AM over a course of one mile. Participants will receive a medal, T-Shirt and Runners Bag. 

5K:

The 5K will start at 9:15 AM.   Participants will receive a T-Shirt and Runners Bag.  Awards will be given to the Top 3 Dogs crossing the finish line in the 5K.

Registration Fees:

$25 - 5K
$30 - 5K after April 24, 2020
$15 - Fun Run
$20 - Fun Run after April 24, 2020
*Registration Fees are Non-Refundable

Participation Rules:

For your dog’s safety, and to make this event enjoyable for all, participants must abide by the rules listed below. We encourage the participation of dogs that are accustomed to regular exercise and are well adjusted to crowds and noisy environments with large numbers of people and other dogs.

1. Dog must be current on all shots and rabies vaccination.
2. Dog must wear an ID Tag.
3. No dogs in heat and no aggressive dogs.
4. Dog must be leashed (6ft. max length) & in control. No retractable leashes please.
5. You must pick up after your dog. Disposable bags and water will be provided
6. Children must be at least 13 years old to participate with a dog without adult supervision.
