5K run/walk- 8:00 am 1K run/walk- 9:00 am
Mending the Gap is transforming the aging experience for hundreds of low-income and vulnerable seniors. Providing supplementary supplies and food, companionship and other support services for low-income seniors, helping them to remain healthy, independent and connected. Mending the gap also aids with the development of positive intergenerational relationships by creating opportunities that enable young people and senior citizens to connect and engage.
Mending the Gap Inc.(MTG) is dedicated to meeting the needs of low- income seniors; Keeping them healthy, independent and connected. Mending the gap serves 600+ seniors in the Metro Atlanta each week. All proceeds from this race will go to further our goal of extending our reach to other seniors in need.
Together we can ensure older adults have access to the basic daily needs to stay healthy and remain in their homes longer.

Race Course: The race begins and ends in the City Park's lower parking lot.
The Course: This race course is a USATF Certified 5K Course (GA16019DJ), and as such can be used as a 2024 Peachtree Qualifier! The course will be marked with signs and mile markers.
