Drop A Dress Size is a Virtual Fitness Challenge with Real Results
Come join the Challenge: Make Your Losing Weight A Part of Getting Ready for the Summer!!!
Why: to promote a healthy lifestyle of eating good and staying active--moving and losing weight in the meantime. Losing about 7-10 lbs is typically one dress size. So, before summer losing a Dress Size is a doable and rewarding goal. Having fun is a part of this challenge, but eating sensibly and the more you work out and the more you move, the more chances you'll have at succeeding and reaching your goal with some swag-prizes.
What you do: Lose at least 7lbs or more in 6 weeks by completing any type of workout or exercise. Pretty much any aerobic and strength-related activity counts, but a session must be at least 20* minutes of continuous activity. Walk, swim, bike, run, lift weights, do yoga, Pilates, stair-climb, Cross Fit, Wii fit, skate, take a strength class, ect. Commuting (bike or walk) and yard work count if they are continuous 20-minutes minimum*
Where: Anyone can do the challenge from everywhere-anywhere.

Open registration begins March 19th, 2018. You have from March 31st, 2018 through April 2nd to log your initial weight. (See rules below for details)

Rules for Logging Workouts and Weight: Once you have paid your entry fee, you will have access to record your starting Weight and log your workouts along with link for private FB Group.
You can enter your weight amount weekly and you are responsible for keeping up and logging your workouts. This is an honor system and a fun way to lose weight, so please be truthful and accurate whenever you log. (Weight Scale-before and after pics are not necessary and will not be shared unless you do so yourself.)
Eating: Eat mindfully. Try adding extra vegetables and fruit into you daily eating habits. Skip the desserts, sodas and processed food as much as possible. This can make a huge difference. If you need that dessert, try sharing with a friend or eating just a bite or two--Tasting without the quilt or the added weight. More helpful eating tips to come.
Waiver: by joining in this challenge you agree to the following: Exercise has inherent risks. You should have the approval of your doctor before you start a new exercise program. You assume all risk and take responsibility for your own well-being. You hold me and this program harmless of any responsibility. You agree to abide by the rules laid out so far, and by any new rules advanced by the host to deal with unforeseen circumstances. This is for fun and health and not worth any of us getting stressed out over. If you feel any real problem exists, you agree to raise it the spirit of good sporting-ship. And, Again this is the honor system, so be honorable!
