40th Annual Mt. Bethel Elementary School Fun Run

This year's Fun Run and 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 (3/14 is Pi Day!). The race begins and finishes in the school's bus parking lot. 

Every finisher receives a mini pie, and all student finishers receive a medal. All registered runners will get a Dri Fit race shirt. 

One Morning, Three Races

1/2-Mile Race 

• Exclusive to kindergartners, as well as pre-schoolers who don’t attend Mt. Bethel

  • Kindergartners may choose to sign up for the 1-mile race or 5K

  • Pre-schoolers may choose to sign up for the 1-mile race      

• We highly encourage that 1/2-mile runners are accompanied by an adult

• Adults registering for the 1/2-mile race will receive a shirt but no race number

• Adults are welcome to run with their child without registering, although they will not receive a race shirt

1-Mile Race

• Open to all students, family, and community members 

• We highly encourage that 1-mile runners are accompanied by an adult.

• Adults registering for the 1-mile race will receive a shirt but no race number

• Adults are welcome to run with their child without registering, although they will not receive a race shirt

5K Race

• Open to all students, family, and community members  

• All registrants receive a race number and shirt

Race Day Registration is available beginning at 7:00 AM and will close at 7:45 AM.

The race starts and finishes in the school's bus parking lot. The course includes roads in the Princeton Lakes neighborhood.

Awards

All student finishers receive a medal. First place student finishers of each race will get to pie a principal or assistant principal.

Additionally, larger medals will be awarded to: 

• Top three finishers (boys and girls) in the 1/2-mile race

• Top three finishers (boys and girls) in each grade of the 1-mile race

• Student 5K champion (boy and girl)

• Top 5K three finishers (boys and girls) ages 5-9, 10-12, and 13-19

The top 5K male and female (19-years-old and older) will receive an award. 

Packet/Bib/Shirt Pick-up

Final race day information, shirt, and bib numbers will be delivered to child's classroom on race week. Community members, and anyone who registers after March 11, will pick up their bib number on race morning. 

Those who register before March 6 will receive their shirt before/on race day. Those who register after March 6 will receive their shirt a few weeks after the race. 

Race Day Parking

We strongly suggest you arrive a minimum of 30 minutes early.

Parking is not allowed on the race course. 

Parking is available in the school parking lot until 7:45am. Cars will not be allowed to leave until after the 1/2-mile race ends at approximately 9:30am. 

Additional parking is available at local shopping centers.
