Description
The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:00 A.M. and the 5k beginning at 8:30 A.M. The event will begin and end at the Jenkins County Courthouse located at 611 E. Winthrope Avenue in Millen, GA. The course is mostly flat and fast. Awards will be given to the overall 1st place male and female and to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place males and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place females in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15 - 19, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, and 60 and over.
Proceeds of this event are benefiting the Dream Center of Vidalia, GA. a Faith Based Alcohol & Drug Treatment Center for Women.
