Description
The 28th Annual Deer Dash is a 5k Chipped Race Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run. The 5K is a 3.1 mile run/walk around beautiful Monticello. The Fun Run is an out and back running on Eatonton Street.

T-Shirts
T-shirts are available to all runners that register by Monday, October 6, 2025 at 4:00pm. After this date, t-shirts will not be available.
Prior to October 6, 2025 a no T-shirt option is available. A $10.00 discount will be applied at check out.
Phantom Runners will have their t-shirt mailed to them for an $8.00 mailing fee automatically included at the time of t-shirt size selection. If you live locally and do not want your t-shirt mailed to you, stop ty the Chamber of Commerce and register there as a phantom runner and pick up your t-shirt at that time.
Early Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup and last minute registration is available at the Monticello Chamber of Commerce starting at 1:00pm on Friday, October 31.

Awards
Fun Run Awards are given to the Overall male and Overall female finisher 10 years old and younger. All Fun Runners will receive a finishers medal.
5K Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following
5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and Over

What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
