Pre-Race Packet Pick-up for those pre-registered:
Pre-Race Packet Pick-up will be held Friday, August 8th from 10:00am until 7:00pm at GoGo Running (1018 Martha Berry Blvd NE, Rome, GA 30165).

Won’t you be my Nabor?  Lace up your running or walking shoes and come out to the Love Your Nabors 5K!  If there is anyone who can motivate others to get out and get moving it’s our Coach HANNAH NABORS!   

Hannah has devoted countless hours to loving, supporting, and encouraging others as a teacher, coach, coworker, and friend. Now it is time for our community to come out and support her!  After a tragic automobile accident and the loss of her lower leg in February, Hannah has been battling her way back!  This race will raise funds to assist in that battle. Three events...for one great person -- We have a 5K Run, a 5K Walk, and a 1 mile Run/Walk... all starting and finishing at the AdventHealth Stadium.

So come run, walk, or cheer at the finish line as we raise funds for Coach Hannah but also celebrate the importance of community and Loving Your Nabors!  Remember there is something to celebrate everyday!  

• Did you know that Sat., August 9th, 2025 is National Garage Sale Day, as well as National Book Lover's Day??! Of course you did!  
• Aug. 9th is also National Rice Pudding Day...which is WAY more cool.  (Hannah would want you to know this.)

5K RUN Route:

For 5K RUN Course Map, scroll down to bottom.  

This USATF-Certified 5K Course is the same route as the AdventHealth Turkey Trot 5K in November. 

It begins and ends at Advent-Health Stadium's main parking lot.  It is scenic, very fast, and a PEACHTREE ROAD RACE QUALIFIER!  This out-and-back course goes out northwest to the Armuchee Connector, crosses the bridge briefly before joining the the newly-developed ECO Trail System's walking/running path along the Oostanaula River.  Once runners make the U-turn, they return to the main stadium parking lot Start/Finish area.

     5K WALK Route: 

The 5K Walk route is different from the 5K Run.  

The Walk also begins and ends at Advent-Health Stadium's main parking lot--but DUE TO RECENT CONSTRUCTION-- the 5K Walk route will be as follows: 

It begins and ends at Advent-Health Stadium's main parking lot.  This out-and-back course goes out northwest toward the lower parking lot behind the stadium, and after crossing the wooden footbridge, turns left in the parking lot.  Travel through the parking lot to join the ECO Trail System's walking/running path along the Oostanaula River heading toward Hwy 1/Veteran's Parkway.  Walkers go under the bridge and continue in the direction of Ridge Ferry Park.  Once walkers make the U-turn, they return to the main stadium parking lot Start/Finish area the exact way they came.

         1 MILE  Run or Walk Route: 

The 1 Mile route is the same as the 5K WALK, only shorter.  

Race Start-Finish & Race Day Parking:

There is plenty of FREE parking available at the AdventHealth Stadium parking lots.

Awards will be given to the following: 
*Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female Winners
*Top Masters Male and Top Masters Female Winners
*Top 3 Male & Female in the following Age Categories: 10-Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over

NOTE: There are no awards presented for the 5K WALK.

1 Mile RUN/WALK Awards:

Awards will be given to the following: 
*Top 3 Overall BOYS (Ages 10 & Under) and Top 3 GIRLS (Ages 10 & Under)

Results:

The race will be professionally-timed by Wire2Wire Running, LLC  *  Wire2WireRunning.com
W2W uses R.F.I.D. technology and MyLaps equipment... the same used in the Peachtree R.R., the Boston Marathon, the Tour de France, and the London Marathon.
