This is a Virtual 5K Event for 2021~ We are hopeful that we will be able to go "in-person" for 2021. However, as of now, we will start as a virtual event.
Come out and kick off your summer by enjoying a super flat & fast course at Etowah River Park in Canton. Join us if we are able to run "in-person". As of now we are virtual so Run the course when & where you want using the course on racejoy!
This event will be to have fun and to keep running/moving!
We'll be kicking off the start at 8:00 AM. There will be award medals for the Top 3 Overall M/F Winners, Top 3 in our Masters M/F, Grand Masters M/F, Senior Grand Masters M/F and all the normal Age Groups 10 & Under. - 75+. We've got a great race tee which will get shipped out to virtual participants. We will also hold a packet pickup where you may pickup your shirt in-person.

VIRTUAL RUNNING - HOW IT WORKS
Can't make it out to the event site on race day?
Still want to participate or support the cause and have a shot at an award? or maybe you saw the shirt and said: "Sweet...I want one!" Then the virtual race is for you. Run when & where you want, just submit your time by end of Race Day. We'll ship out virtual packages the Monday after event date! *Shipping available for continental US only.

Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you! Sign up and register for the Sneaky Steps Virtual 5K!
Step 2
Download your custom virtual race bib; not required. Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!
Step 3
Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe! You may use racejoy and run the actual course!
Step 4
HAVE FUN!~
Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route and use the hashtag #Sneakysteps5k

You can submit your race time HERE on the Virtual Results page anytime anytime from May 23rd until 5/29/2021 11:59 PM.

Course & Timing
We're in North Georgia, and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast. So…yes, there are some "hills", but it's nothing crazy, and you'll be so busy having fun, that you won't even notice.
The 5K course is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. USATF certified. Course number: GA18039WC

Five Star Championships & Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots
All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2021 Five Star Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trots. See website for info.
Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the Championships held in January 2022. The number of spots available is based on the total registration...see website
Event Courtesy & Refund Policy
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
