Individual Fundraisers
The Girlfriends walk/run event is Sunday, October 18th on the beautiful Vancouver Waterfront! The annual event raises awareness and funds to support many breast cancer patients and their families along the journey.
For 17 years, Pink Lemonade Project has been a beneficiary of the Girlfriends event. Pink Lemonade offers outreach, education, screening, financial and emotional support for patients, families, and caregivers.
Breast cancer will affect 1 in 7 women in their lifetime in the Pacific Northwest. One percent of men will be diagnosed. Recurrence continues and, in some cases, people will lose their lives to the disease.
In 2025, we served over 4500 people across 6 counties in SW Washington and all of Oregon. The need is great for breast cancer patients and their families.
