Q - Where is parking located?
A- Please use the parking lot at the Valley Strong Credit Union Administrative Office located at: 11500 Bolthouse Dr, Bakersfield, CA 93311. From this parking area, you can head northeast to a paved walkway that will take you to start line at the Hoffmann Hospice Home. Please follow signage and instructions from our volunteer parking attendants. If needed, overflow parking will be available nearby at ADAKC and The Villages at Seven Oaks.

Q - What is the minimum age to register for each event?
A-  Although we welcome all family members, we recommend runners be at least age 15 for the 10K / 5K. Ultimately, it is up to each parent or guardian depending upon their child’s ability to participate in our event. Only registered participants with Bibs attached will be eligible for awards.

Q - Are dogs allowed on the course?
A – While we love our fur babies we discourage bringing your pet to the event. In addition, wagons, roller-blades, skateboards, scooters or bicycles of any kind are NOT allowed on the course for safety reasons.

Q - Are baby strollers allowed?
A - Yes, you are allowed to run with a jogger stroller.  All strollers are required to start at the back of the pack, regardless of your speed and stay to the right to allow for passing on the left.

Q - Will there be race day registration?
A – Race Day registration will take place at the Hoffmann Hospice Home from exactly 7:00am-7:30am.

Q - When is packet pickup available?
A - Packet Pickup is available the day before the race on Friday, April 1, 2022 (no foolin'!) at the Hoffmann Hospice Home from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Packet Pickup is also available starting at 7:00am until approximately 7:30am on race day. Packet pickup is considered "checking in" for the run. You will get your bib, participant bag with goodies, and t-shirt.

Q - Will there be a bag drop off at the event?
A – NO. You are responsible for anything you bring to the event. We recommend you bring as little as possible.

Q - Can I run with headphones?
A – Yes, however, it is recommended that participants keep only one earbud in for safety and to be able to hear directions from race officials or emergency vehicles.

Q – Are there restrooms?
A – Yes, there are restrooms available to event participants in the Event Check-In Area at the Hoffmann Hospice Home. There are no restrooms available on the course.

Q – Are there water stations?
