RACE DAY INFO
Race packet pick-up:
- Tuesday, June 11 - Millyard Bank (9 Ash St, Hollis), 11:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Wednesday, June 12 - Fleet Feet Sports (4 Coliseum Ave, Nashua), 11:00am to 7pm.
- Thursday, June 13 - RACE DAY! Alpine Grove, 4pm – 5:45. Plan to arrive by 5pm to avoid congestion.
We encourage you to do an early bird pick-up on Tuesday or Wednesday if you are local. But please do not leave your bib number at home!
RACE DAY: Shuttle busses start rolling at 5:15 pm. Last shuttle bus leaves Alpine Grove at 6:00 pm.
Runners who pick up their number at Millyard Bank or Fleet Feet Sports can go directly to the start at the Hollis Brookline Middle School or they can be dropped off in Monument Square near the Hollis Social Library. There is limited parking in this area and NO BUS TRANSPORTATION BACK TO THE STARTING LINE.
Bathroom Facilities: Available at Alpine Grove, Clinton Drive (express parking lot) and near the starting line.
Pre-race Water: Available at Alpine Grove and near the starting line.
Baggage Dropoff: Available near the start line. Look for “Gear Bag” signs. Bags will be tagged with your race number. Bag pickup: Outside of Alpine Grove immediately following the race. Show your bib number to retrieve bag.
The Start: All participants will start at Hollis Brookline Middle School. In the event of a thunderstorm, you will wait inside the school until the storm passes. A rainy day with no thunder and lightning will not delay or postpone the race.
Hollis Fast 5k is Chip-timed. Your starting time begins when you cross the starting line. The faster runners will start up front. If you are not a fast runner, please start in the middle to the back of the pack.
Racecourse: Depot Road will be closed for the first mile of the race. At the junction of Merrill Lane and Depot Road, runners will be guided with traffic cones to the right side of the road for the remainder of the race. Runners must stay to the right side of the traffic cones.
Post-race Refreshments & Awards Celebration: Alpine Grove Event Centre.
* NEW * All age group awards will be presented immediately following the race. No awards will be mailed. Any awards not picked up on race night will be available for pickup at Fleet Feet Sports beginning Friday, June 14 after 2:00pm thru Saturday, June 22nd.
