WHAT IS A VIRUTAL EXPERIENCE?

When you register for a virtual experience, you can complete your distance anytime and anywhere, and help give back to a great cause! 

WHAT ARE MY PARTICIPATION OPTIONS?

WHAT ARE THE REGISTRATION FEES FOR THE VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE?

The virtual experience registration fees will be the same rate as our in-person distance plus shipping. To check for current rates, please click here.

WHAT DOES MY REGISTRATION INCLUDE?

Your registration includes an official race program, shirt, finisher medal, race bib and a donation to our veteran causes.

WHERE CAN I RUN/WALK MY DISTANCE?

Anywhere! Your virtual run can be completed in your own neighborhood, on your favorite running trail, at the park, or even on the treadmill. 

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY TIME?

Submit Your Virtual Results - Once you have completed your race, self-report your virtual results by clicking on Results, choosing Virtual (Your Distance) Results Set and then clicking on the "plus sign" button in the upper right coner.

DO I HAVE TO RUN DURING RACE WEEK? OR CAN I RUN AT ANOTHER TIME?

You can run anytime between 11/01 and 11/30.

CAN I ACCUMULATE MILES INSTEAD OF RUN MY RACE ALL AT ONCE?

You will need to complete your distance all at once.

CAN I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION FROM ONE RACE DISTANCE TO ANOTHER?

Yes. In 2024, you can transfer your in-person experience into a virtual experience or transfer one virtual race distance to another before 10/16/2024.

You'll be charged the difference in entry fees in effect at the time of upgrading, a refund will not be provided. If you are transferring from in-person to virtual for the same distance, you will not be charged the virtual race fee (unless you're upgrading), however you will be charged the shipping rate.

To switch races, email contact@heroesmarathon.com. You may only switch race distance once.

ARE REFUNDS AVAILABLE?

We have a no refund policy. If you are unable to participate, your registration fee will be donated to our veteran causes. For any questions regarding our policy, please email contact@heroesmarathon.com.

WHAT WILL THE MEDALS AND SHIRTS LOOK LIKE?

TBD. Check back in August 2025!

WHEN WILL RACE NUMBERS, SHIRTS, AND MEDALS BE SHIPPED?

With the virtual registration deadline being 10/17/2024, our goal is to have the packets mailed for you to receive by the week of the race. We cannot guarantee arrival times. Please ensure your correct address is updated by checking your confirmation email.

CAN I CHANGE MY REGISTRATION INFORMATION?

Yes. You can change your address, phone number, email address, shirt size, emergency contact information, etc. before 10/15/2025. If you need to make any changes, please email contact@heroesmarathon.com.

HOW CAN I REQUEST A COPY OF MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL?

You can request your confirmation email be resent by emailing contact@heroesmarathon.com.
