Below are answers to some of your Frequently Asked Questions: 

 

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

 

What is a Virtual Challenge? 
A Virtual Challenge is an activity that we do together, yet independently. You can complete it at your own pace and anywhere you would like. Simply register for the event and you have from Nov. 25 - Nov. 30 to complete your challenge. Your swag and store items will automatically be mailed by Thanksgiving day. 

When Can I Start?
The challenge will begin on November 25 and you have until November 30 to complete the challenge. 

Where Should I do my activity?
You can conduct your activity anyplace you like. Please follow social distancing safe practices.

Can I Complete My Activity on a Treadmill or an elliptical machine?
Yes, you can track your progress on a treadmill or elliptical machine! 

 

GROUPS/TEAMS

 

How do we form a team?
The first member of the team will be given the opportunity to create a team name. Once the team name is formed, the rest of the team can sign up and select to join that team name during the registration process. 

If I sign up for a team, is there a fee for each team member? 
Yes, each member of the team is responsible for registering and paying for their challenge and will receive their own finisher medal, race apparel, online results tracking, custom bib, finisher certificate.

 

TRACKING YOUR MILES FOR THE CHALLENGE

 

Do I have to log my miles or activity?
Nope — logging your miles or activity is optional, but we do hear from our participants that it helps them feel more connected to the challenge and to the other participants. PLEASE NOTE: If you are anonymous, you will not be able to log your miles. 

How do I log my activity for the challenge?
1. Click HERE or on the "RESULTS" tab at the top of the race page.
2. Click the "+" to enter your results.
3.  Enter your name.
4. Enter your progress of your activity.
5. Click "SUBMIT YOUR TIME"  Done!
6. To track your activity you click on the RESULTS tab. This will allow you to search your name and view your miles completed. 
We will keep track of your total distance. Check back anytime to see your progress.
Note:  It may take up to 24 hours for the system to update new participant registrations so you may not be able to start placing your results until the day after you register.


Where do I find my team results?
To find your team results, CLICK HERE and use the drop down menu "Results Set" to find your challenge. 

Do I need a GPS watch tracker or official app to measure and time my distance?
You can use one if you wish, but you don't need one. You are on the Honor System. If you would like to use an app to measure your distance, some popular ones are Strava, MapMyRun and Run Keeper. Please note that you will still have to log your miles manually through the RESULTS tab, Run Signup does not have the ability to integrate with any apps at the moment. 

Can I change my distance?
Absolutely! You can make this change in your RunSignUp profile under Manage Registration. Once you are in your profile, click on the "Transfer Event" tab at the top of the page. Click HERE for more information.  

 

ABOUT THE SWAG

 

What is included with my registration?
All participants receive a finisher medal, Tyvek race bib, Mega Food vitamins and access to all the challenge features including online tracking and a finisher certificate. 

When will I receive my race swag?
Your swag will arrive on or before Thanksgiving day! 

When will I get my bib?
We will be shipping you out a physical race bib. The bib number for your Run Signup results may not reflect your physical bib you receive. 

How do I find my finisher certificate?
Here’s how:
1. Click on RESULTS tab at the top of the page
2. Look up your name.
3. Click CERTIFICATE in the upper right corner.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

 

How much is shipping?
Shipping is free within the USA. 

I live outside of the United States, can I still participate?
We are currently providing international shipping on a case by case basis. Please email info@gobeyondevents.com with your inquiries to see if we can ship to you.

How do I know when my SWAG has been shipped?
We will email you and send you a tracking link once your SWAG has shipped.

What if I receive an incorrect size shirt (from what was selected during registration)?
If you receive the incorrect size shirt from what you ordered, we will reship the correct size shirt free of charge. We will send you a return label for your incorrect size shirt and once we receive it, we will ship out the correct size shirt. 

What if I receive my shirt but now want a different size?
If you would like to swap a size after we have shipped your SWAG, you will be responsible for shipping fees to return the item and to reship the size you want. We can only issue a different size if it is within 10 days of you receiving your order and the item has not been washed.

What if my shipment is returned to sender due to incorrect address on file?
You will be charged the shipping fee for sending your items to the updated address. 

Please note, we are unable to control what happens once the package is scanned by USPS (ie. late shipment, tracking updates, etc.).

 

REFERRING YOUR FRIENDS

 

Where can I find my referral code to pass on to my friends?
The link to your referral code is in the confirmation email and also in the Quick Links email that was sent to you the day after you registered.  You can also find your link in your profile.  Click HERE to learn how to access both options.

How can I see how many people have registered using my referral link? 
You can track your referred registrations in your profile. You can use THIS LINK to find out how.

How will I receive my referral bonus?
If five people use your code, we will send you your race shirt at the end of the challenge with your other SWAG.

 

MAKING CHANGES TO YOUR REGISTRATION

 

Can I change my mailing address?
Yes, you can edit any of your registration information in your profile. Please make sure to change it as soon as possible. Click HERE to learn how.  

Can I change my event (i.e.:  change from 5K to Marathon)?
Absolutely! You can edit any of your registration information in your profile. Click HERE to learn how.  

I accidentally registered myself as anonymous. How do I change that?
You can change your status in your event profile. Click HERE to learn how. 

 

CHARITY DONATIONS

 

Does this event support a charity?
Yes, a percentage of proceeds will be given to Feeding America.
