Description
The Grinnell Parks and Recreation Department wants you to stay active during these trying times! With the GARC closed for the time being we felt bad for those who use our facility to get their exercise. With that being said, we have created our first annual virtual 5K. Not like your typical 5K with big crowds (not advised), this is a virtual 5K where the participant can run/walk from their own treadmill, use the city bike/walk paths or just strolling through your own neighborhood to complete this challenge (while practicing social distancing)! A great way to stay active!
Open to all Grinnell citizens! Free of charge!
*You don't have to run, walking counts too :)
*This event does not take place at the GARC. Runners/walkers do this race on their own.
