Restrictions for the safety of our participants
Packet pick-up will be available as a "drive-thru" at Boone County Hospital on Friday, June 18th, from 4 – 6 pm. If this time does not work for you, please contact us to make other arrangements. Packets will be available the morning of the race, but we highly encourage athletes to pick up before the race day if possible.
We want to do everything possible to keep you and our staff safe and we so appreciate your cooperation during these unprecedented times.
All participants will be screened. Based on the CDC definition of a fever and the symptoms of COVID-19, if the athlete has a temperature of 100.0 or above, then the athlete will be directed to the medical staff in triage for a final determination on the athlete's ability to participate in the event.
Staff will ensure ample hand sanitizer, fresh wipes, trash cans and bags, and other necessary cleaning supplies are provided. There will be two handwashing stations provided and two portable toilets.
We ask that athletes maintain 6 feet between other participants and staff at all times.
Masks are required in any gathering area. The only exception will be during the actual race.
