West Union Park and Rec Trail Run

We are organizing a 5K Trail RunWalk and an Adventure Race on October 26, 2019.  The adventure trail will be a .81 mile loop on a newly created trail that you run 5 times.  So to get to the trail, there is a .5 mile run on gravel sidewalk.  The adventure race is 5 miles.  We followed a deer trail so you will cross water 5 times, weave around trees, cross over logs on the trail, etc.  There's a little bit of terrain for everyone.  The course is in our beautiful Echo Valley State Park.  We have worked with the local Fayette County Conservationists to create this trail.  The start will be at the beginning of the Jensen Trail near the main shelter and will also end by the main shelter.  If you're not that adventurous but still want to join us, register for the run/walk.  You will run/walk the Jensen Trail which is a 5K total distance.  All participants will receive a t-shirt and participation medal.  Awards are for the Adventure race only.
