Annual Run/Walk for Safe Streets (Half Marathon, 10K, 5k and 1.5k kids run & Virtual Runs)

Idaho Walk Bike Alliance is hosting its annual running/walking event in August, 2022. We want to bring this family friendly event to the beautiful communities throughout Idaho to encourage people to get outside and walk or run. We will include a virtual element to allow participation from others wherever they are so all are welcome! We will offer a Half Marathon, 5K, 10K, and a kids' 1.5K race. Boise runners will participate on Saturday, August 20. We will also offer a virtual category for anyone outside the Treasure Valley.

Packet and Shirt pickup information:

• Packet and t-shirts will be available for pickup at the Idaho Walk Bike Alliance office Thursday, Aug. 18 and Friday, Aug. 19 from 12pm-5pm. Our address is 280 N. 8th Street, Suite 210. We recommend picking up before Saturday although packets will also be available before the race.
• Day of registration and packet pickup will begin at 7:00 AM on the day of the run. 
• Virtual participants will receive their packet, t-shirt and medal after the race. All packages will be mailed out on Monday August 22.

In Person Run/Walk Schedule (August 20th)

• Day of registration and check-in will open at 6:30AM at the Julia Davis Pavilion
• 1/2 Marathon participants will begin at 7:30, 10k will begin at 7:45, and the 5k and Kid's Run will begin at 8:00AM.
