Divine Nine 5K - Virtual Run

Divine Nine 5K - Virtual Run is a self-motivated competition that is organized online where you complete a 5K by running, walking or both on a date and time of your choosing, anywhere in the world. Virtual racing can be done on a treadmill at home or at the gym, at the beach, with friends, alone, in the evening, or at the break of dawn, it’s your choice! Anyone can participate.It’s also a great way to add to your medal collection while supporting scholarship.

What is a virtual race?
A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in a local race! You can run your race at YOUR pace wherever you like, whenever you like.

How does a virtual race work?

• Sign up on RunSignUp for the virtual race
• Choose a date to run and go out and run your race!
• Feel free to post pictures with #DN5KVirtual on social media or send to info@divinenine5k.com 
• Tell your friends!

Who can participate in a virtual race?
Everybody and anybody! There is no age limit and there are no restrictions. So run, jog, walk, crawl, run alone, run in a group, run with your pet, bike, hike, it doesn’t matter. Just get out there and get moving!

Why should I do a virtual race?
There are a million reasons to do a virtual race, but here are our favorites: 

1. You REALLY like medals 
2. A virtual race is much easier to fit into your busy schedule than other races 
3. You’re feeling sluggish and could use a little extra motivation to get off the couch 
4. Your friends will join me for a run or walk if you give them some extra incentive
5. You want to support a great cause.

Can I complete the virtual race as a group?
The more the merrier!

When will I receive my medal?
Medals will be shipped soon after registration

Are the race fees tax deductible?
No. Although Divine Nine 5K is a charitable organization, donations for events are not tax-deductible. 

Which charity does the proceeds go towards?
All proceeds go to scholarship and community programs
