Description
Sigma Gamma Rho’s commitment to service is expressed in its slogan, “Greater Service, Greater Progress.” The sorority has a proud history of providing positive and proactive community outreach nationally and internationally. The programs, partnerships, and sponsorships represent Sigma Gamma Rho’s commitment to promoting the greater good in education, service, and leadership development.
Delta Sigma Chapter will host a city-wide Civic 5K Run/Walk/Bike to honor our 7 founders. This event promotes overall health and well-being while also fundraising for Delta Sigma Chapter's civic activities. Our sorority participates in 5 essential programs annually including Operation BigBookBag, Women's Wellness Initiatives, Project Cradle Care, Swim 1922, and Youth Symposium. Our programs have a goal to address health inequities and disparities of vulnerable populations living in underserved communities.
