Spread the Light Virtual 5K

Join Salt & Light Coalition the weekend of November 18-20 for a VIRTUAL 5K to help end human trafficking in Chicago.

Your participation helps women trafficking survivors access resources to heal, and to develop the skills they need to pursue their career ambitions and secure meaningful employment in the workforce.

Meet us on Saturday, November 19 at 10:15 am for an in-person 5K run/walk starting at Oz Park, followed by an after party at Barcocina!

Or, participate in the virtual race by completing your 5K between Friday, November 18 - Sunday, November 20 at the time of your choice, from wherever you are.

Rally your tribe and run, walk or move your way through 5K!

COST: $50

All proceeds go directly to Salt & Light Coalition's workforce development program. If you would like to make an additional donation to our organization, you can do so on the "Donate" page while registering for the race. A small tax fee will be added on to each race registration.

All 5K participants will receive a Salt & Light Coalition beanie!

IN-PERSON 5K: November 19, 10:15 am at Oz Park (2021 N Burling St) - meet by the tennis courts at the southeast corner of the park

Join us for our after party at Barcocina! (2901 N Sheffield)

We'll meet as a group by the tennis courts at Oz Park! Together, we'll run or walk 5k, meeting at our final destination — Barcocina!

We've reserved a section of the bar, and Barcocina has agreed to donate 10% of all food and drink proceeds from our after party to Salt & Light Coalition.

VIRTUAL 5K: November 18-20 weekend

Create your own 5K team, and participate in the race from WHEREVER you are! Complete your 5K the weekend of November 18-20 — whenever fits in your schedule. You'll have the option to log your race time after finishing your 5K, and view results from the other participants.
