McGivney Halloween 5K Run/Walk

It’s that time of the year again – time to get off the couch and start hitting the pavement! The 8th Annual Father McGivney Halloween 5K Run/Walk is Saturday, October 27th, 2018.  There will be a FREE Kid’s Halloween Party in the gymnasium – crafts, games, treats, face painting, and fun. Costumes are encouraged! Come out and have fun while supporting our school. Advanced registration for both events (run/walk and kid’s party) is strongly encouraged.  We are happy to announce that registration is available online at www.McGivneyGriffins.eventbrite.com!

The deadline to be guaranteed a shirt in your size is WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17th.

Important Information
Packet Pickup – Friday, October 26th from 5:30-7 p.m. and Saturday, October 27th from 6:45-7:45 a.m.
Course – Timed 5k run and walk beginning and ending at Father McGivney Catholic High School, 7190 Bouse Road, Glen Carbon, IL  62034
Awards – Top 3 overall male and female finishers; top 3 finishers in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over
Kid’s Halloween Party – For those that want to run and not worry about the kids, our FREE Halloween Party is for you!  Leave your kids in the gym for crafts, games, treats, face painting, and more!  Feel free to join us after the race too, if your kids want to participate in the run/walk!  Registration is strongly encouraged so we know how many kids to plan for!
T-Shirt Only – If you or your little one wants a shirt, but is not going to run, you may purchase a shirt for $15 through the signup below!  Sales end WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17th at midnight!
Online Registration – Online registration is available through 12 p.m. on Friday, October 26th (shirt only registration ends 10/17).  Registration will be available at the event, but it is strongly encouraged to do early to save time!
