Mud Sweat and Gears MTB Race

UPDATE:  CORBA’s Mud, Sweat and Gears MTB race information update.  Due to several factors, we are moving the race venue to the West Main Parking Lot.  Take I-39 Evergreen Lake exit, and follow Hwy 8 to the parking lot.  Avoid taking the I-39 Hudson exit, as there is a road closure from this exit. 

Registration and Packet Pickup will be Saturday Morning starting.  We will not hold an early packet pickup on Friday night at the park. We have adequate staffing to get you checked in on Saturday morning. Course markings will consist of signs, cones, red streamers and paint on trails heads. Fisherman's trail to 6, and cascades down to trail 1 and back to the start.

The Novice Class will start at 10:00 AM and consist of two 4 mile loops, with a good mix of single track as well as wide double track for ample room for passing.  MSG medals for top 3 in male and female categories.

The youth competition will be the same as last year, time trial runs on the skills course just west of the spillway and will start at 9:00 AM.  Families that have kids competing in the youth MSG, and are also competing in the Novice class, please let the race organizers know upon arrival.  We can check you in at this location and we can prioritize your child’s time trials so you can get back to the 10:00 AM start

Sport Class will start at 11:15 AM and will consist of three 4.5 mile loops with technical sections of Comlara trails. MSG medals for top 3 in male and female categories. 13.5 miles total. 

Expert Class will start at approximately 1:00 PM, once all sport riders have finished.  Experts will complete four 4.5 mile loops with technical sections as the Sport class. Cash purse for top three male and female.  18 miles total.

Those wanting to ride in the “Caboose” non-competitive event have the option to start 1 minute behind the Novice class, or upon the third lap of the last place expert rider.  The Caboose riders predicting their loop time closest to the minute, will receive a gift card. Watches and time keeping devices are prohibited for those riders going for the prediction award.  Caboose riders will follow the novice route and can do one or two loops.

Awards upon completion of the events. Will have refreshments snacks throughout the morning and afternoon.  Post race get together at Green Gables beer garden.
