2023 Harlem Huskie Hustle 5K, 1 Mile Walk/Run AND Kids Fun Run

It's back! Get your running / walking shoes laced up!! The Harlem Wellness Program is excited to host the 2023 Huskie Hustle 5K, 1 mile Walk/Run, & Kids Fun Run on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Harlem High School for Harlem's Staff, Students & their Families (Sorry, pets are not allowed)

EVENT SCHEDULE
All participants should arrive no later than 8:30 am as events will start promptly: 
9:00 am - We will kick off our with the Kids Fun Run (age groups: 4 and under; 5-6; 7-8; 9-10; and 11-12) 
9:15 am - 5K walkers/runners & 1 mile walkers/runners will line up based on starting order:  5K walkers, 5K runners, 1 mile walkers/runners 
5K walkers - for yours and the runners' safety, please walk on the sides of the path and keep the middle of the path open for the runners

RACE SHIRTS
*Included in the registration fee for the 5K & 1 Mile Walk/Run.  Guaranteed with completed registration through May 8, 2023

*Optional for the Kids Fun Run for $10.00  in Youth Small, Youth Medium, and Youth Large. If you would like to purchase one, please contact Diana Disch at 815-654-4500 to place your order with a credit card OR stop by the Harlem Administration Center and ask for Diana Disch to place your order in person with check or cash payment Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.  Orders accepted through May 8, 2023

RACE MEDALS & TROPHIES
*Medals will be awarded to the 1st place finisher for men/women AND top 3 overall in each age/gender divisions in the Huskie Hustle 5K: 
8+ under; 9-11; 12-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+.

*1st place trophy for top male and female finisher

*School trophy will be awarded for the Most Student Participation & Most Staff Participation.

COURSE INFORMATION
The 5K will start on the track at the 50 yard line.  Following the first bend of the track, runners/walkers will exit the track on the North side of the field through the double-gated entrance and follow the marked path to parking lot D and then onto Willow Creek path.  The turn around will be marked (runners and walkers will NOT be crossing Forest Hills Road), returning to parking lot D, along the front of the high school and re-entering the track on the South side of the field (the single-gated entrance) to the finish line at the 50 yard line where this all started.
