Elks Stampede for St. Jude

This Elks Stampede was created for the children of St. Jude. The fundraiser is not exclusive to Elk members, but it properly represents the four cardinal principles of being an Elk: Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity.

It is difficult to suggest a more noble charitable cause than the fight against childhood cancer.

It is even more difficult to find justice in the lives of these children.

If anyone is deserving of love from a stranger, it is the children who have been so unfortunate as to face terminal illness at such a young age.

Participating in this stampede is an excellent exhibit of faithfulness and fidelity to the morals that Elks stand for.

Thanks to donors like you, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
