Description
The Oak Brook Park District is proud to host the Dream Team Dri Tri. Don't miss this triathlon for ages 12+ and all skill levels.
This Dream Team Dri Tri consists of 2 person teams completing the following distances:
Row on Concept 2 Rowers (3000 meters) Teammates alternating every 500 meters
Cycle on Air Assault bikes (3.0 miles) Teammates alternating every 0.5 miles
Run/Walk 12 laps on our indoor track (1.5 miles) Teammates alternating every lap
Teams can be same or mixed gender. Each team will be assigned a heat at registration, and confirmations will be sent out the week before the event. Heats start every 30 minutes, beginning at 7:30am, with 6 teams per heat. All participants must start at the times indicated in their confirmation email (no exceptions).
Appropriate attire, including athletic shoes, are required for all events. First place team will receive the grand prize!

Apparao (Rao) Devata’s life was defined by his unwavering love for Oak Brook. As a dedicated member of the Oak Brook Park District Foundation Board, an avid participant in fitness programs including our triathlons, a generous supporter, and a passionate advocate for pickleball, Rao worked tirelessly to make our community stronger, healthier, and more connected.
To honor Rao’s vision, a Memorial Fund has been established. This fund will bring to life his dream of outdoor pickleball courts—a welcoming space where all can gather, friendships can grow, and active, healthy lifestyles can flourish. These courts will stand as a lasting tribute to Rao’s dedication to our community.
