"The Great Pumpkin" 5k by the Oblong Children's Christian Home

Join us for a pumpkin-filled adventure at the Oblong Children's Christian Home's 14th Annual 5k, aptly named "The Great Pumpkin Race"! For over a decade, our community has come together to support our mission of providing a loving and nurturing home for children in need. We're thrilled to celebrate 14 years of running for a cause that matters.

This year, we're adding a delightful twist to the event with a "Charlie Brown theme," in perfect harmony with the Oblong Fall Follies, the festival where this race takes place. Dust off your favorite Peanuts costumes because we're awarding prizes for the best-dressed runners as beloved Peanuts characters like Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Lucy. And don't forget the classic Halloween costumes – Frankenstein, pumpkins, and goblins are all welcome too!

Mark your calendars for October 28th, Saturday, at 8:00 AM, and be part of this heartwarming tradition. Registration is only $30, and all proceeds go toward supporting the children who call our home theirs. Let's run, laugh, and celebrate together in the spirit of giving and community.
