Pegasus Special Riders Jingle Bell Trot

Please join Pegasus Special Riders (PSR) in a virtual 5k!  The year 2020 has brought challenges to each of us in many ways. And that includes people who love the challenge of participating in a race whether to achieve a personal goal or to benefit a good cause. New laws and guidelines for social distancing along with quarantine restrictions have eliminated physical participation in races of all kinds. And if you are a competitive runner certainly you have missed that. Pegasus would like to offer you an opportunity to challenge yourself to whatever goal you choose for yourself on your terms and also give you the opportunity to benefit Pegasus Special Riders. We are inviting people of all ages to choose when and where you run, walk, use a treadmill, skate, push a stroller, etc. with all proceeds to benefit PSR. 

Like so many non-profits, Pegasus has struggled this year to raise the necessary funds to offer therapeutic horseback riding to our clients because of the inability to host in-person fundraisers. This is a great opportunity to create your own race and set your own personal goals without the pressure of running in a crowd. If you have ever thought about running a race but never felt qualified or motivated, now is your chance to cross a finish line of your choice. The only ‘requirements’ are that you complete your race between 12/20/2020 and 1/2/2021, send in your results and we will give you bragging rights. We encourage you to invite family and friends to join you and make it a fun and fulfilling accomplishment, all while achieving a personal goal and helping others while doing it.
