Description
Over 1000 Runners and 135,000 watts of power make Detweiller at Dark one of the most unique XC events in the country! It all goes down at the historic Detweiller Park – where every fall, the top harriers in the Land of Abraham Lincoln’s Peoria speech converge on this fairly flat field located north of Peoria in fervent pursuit of treasured IHSA state championships.
This Summertime event includes an Open Race and Jr. High and High School races for both Girls and Boys divisions with proceeds going to JDRF and the cure for type 1 diabetes.
