Description
DUE TO THE UNCERTAIN TIMES WITH COVID-19, WE HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL THIS YEARS INAUGURAL 5K EVENT IN HOPES OF RE-LAUNCHING IT AGAIN IN 2021. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING, AND LOOK TO SEE YOU THEN!
- The 1st annual Reppin' the Stateline 5K will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at the Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve. The 5k run starts at 8:30 a.m. The event is hosted by Reppin' the Stateline, with 100% of proceeds being donated to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
- First 200 registered participants will receive a race shirt as well as a commemorative stein glass.
- All participants will receive a finisher medal.
- There will be award medals for top finishers.
- This is an Oktoberfest themed race. There will be a post-race party in our re-imagined beer hall to include beer (for those ages 21+) to fill up your commemorative steins, brats, sausages and more...you won't want to miss this!
- Stay tuned for day-of-race information.
*** For runners' safety, we cannot allow strollers or pets, because of the narrow race trail. ***

Being an official Pancreatic Cancer Action Network 3rd party race, we are doing all we can to raise money for the cause. In addition to 100% of the proceeds of the race going to PANCAN, we have set up a website to accept donations. - The 5k run is part of our Health is Wealth campaign for 2020. As part of this campaign we look forward to focusing on getting ourselves to a healthy weight, then focus on a healthy state.
- We plan to have several group runs as we transition into the healthy state portion of our campaign. So if you are a beginning runner or advanced, please feel free to follow along and join us as we train for this amazing Oktoberfest themed 5k run!
