Description
Join School District 54 in supporting literacy and promoting health and fitness for the young and old by participating in the 14th annual Run to Read. All proceeds for the event will be used to purchase books for classroom libraries.
- Finisher Medals for everyone
- medals for the top 3 finished in each age group
- Chip-timed for 5K race
- T-shirts guaranteed if registered by August 31
Timeline
7 a.m. - Race day registration and packet pickup
7:30 a.m. - Mascot Race
8 a.m. - 100-yard and 400-yard races for children
9 a.m. - 5K (USATF certified IL07023JW)
9:15 a.m. - 1-mile family walk
10 a.m. - Medals presented in the Dirksen gym
