For the Marathon training you will start on your own in May/June so that on July 3rd you have a solid 9-10 mile base.  Your first run on July 3rd will be 10-11 miles.

Beginning Half Marathoners will need about a 3 to 6 mile base to start their training on July 3rd.

Included in the fee are strategic hydration stations throughout all routes & maps of the routes.

The Marathon & Half Marathon training schedule will get you ready for a fall half or full marathon and specifically for the Oct 9th Springfield Marathon & the Harvest Wind Half-Marathon. 

This is open to anyone regardless of what race you intend to run.   If you aren't committed to a long distance run this fall, you can show up any Sunday and participate for a $2 contribution on site.  

We are using the parking lot in front of the Board of Election building on the southside of HyVee for all the Sunday Morning Training Runs.

The 10K training program includes a Tuesday evening training run in Washington Park (starting at 6pm) as well as a training run on Sunday mornings (starting at 7am) during the 6 weeks of this program.
