Jingle " No Balls " 5K Run/ 1 Mile Walk
Without spay and neuter initiatives, homeless animals are often euthanized, abused, neglected or die of disease or untreated injuries. Sterilization is critical for management of free-roaming dogs and cats and related disease control concerns.
When effectively delivered, spay/neuter provides a humane and effective way to reduce the number of animals living on the streets, and improves the health of those remaining. It’s time to make an impact and that is our goal for 2023….Spay/neuter and be the voice for the animals. We challenge you to join us!
Join in the fun of our Virtual 5K/1 Mile Walk. This is a virtual race you can run, walk, hike or use even your treadmill. All abilities (and pets) are welcome and you choose how and when you will complete the distance between December 10th- 20th. Each registrant will receive a pair of holiday socks and the first 25 people will receive a holiday beanie. Everyone who signs up will be entered to win a gift basket!
Will you make your steps count and help us raise money for our spay/neuter initiative?
Registration is $25 for an individual or $40 for a family. If registering as a family, please have only one person sign up and choose how many pairs of socks you need up to 4 pairs. They will all be shipped to the same address. All proceeds from the run will allow us to fund our spay/neuter initiative and to continue our fight to prevent cruelty to animals. If you have several family members or friends registering, you can register all in one registration process to save on the processing fee.
If you want to do even more to help you can create a fundraising page. After registration create a Facebook fundraising page and ask friends and family to support your efforts and cheer you on virtually! You can also make an extra donation at time of registration. One Love Foundation Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit. Tax ID 85-1790155. If you don't want to create a fundraiser just skip over that part of registration.
Pick your day and decide on your course, it can be anywhere you choose, or even use your treadmill. Be sure to time yourself to submit your results - a phone app such as Strava or a FitBit are easy ways to track your run/walk.
Once you have completed your race, we ask that you submit your results and photos on this race website. Each entrant will be entered into a drawing for a very cool gift basket.
