Heroic Hearts 5K

Get ready to get up, stretch, run/walk/jog the Heroic Hearts 5K!

Run through the beautiful prairie of the Danada-Herrick Lake Regional Trail. Enjoy a pre-race stretch, get pumped up with some hard hitting beats, and off you go! 

GOAL

In war-ravaged countries, everyday thousands more children are left to face starvation, homelessness, disruption of schooling and must live under constant threat of attack without the support of one or both parents. HHO is committed to bringing lasting and positive change to young lives that will translate into a brighter future for generations to come. A donation of just $600 can provide an orphaned child and his/her guardian with food, water, clothing and medical care for an entire year! We have 100’s of orphans standing by who are in need of our immediate assistance! We challenge each runner to fundraise enough to sponsor as many needy children as possible!

EVENT

8:00 AM – 9:15 AM Registration/Packet Pick-up (PACKET PICK UP / REGISTRATION ENDS AT 9:15 SHARP)

9:15 AM – 9:30 AM 100 Yard Dash for Kids (Ages 2-8)

9:30 AM SHARP 5K Run/Walk/Jog

LOCATION

Danada Forest Preserve, 3S580 Naperville Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189. Entrance is on the east side of Naperville Road, 1 mile south of Butterfield Road (Route 56) and 0.75 mile north of I-88. Located directly across from the Danada Equestrian Center.

REGISTRATION

Early (February 10 – May 1): $35 for ages 8 and above (Any children on the course ages 7 and below must be in jogging strollers). 

Late (May 2 through May 13): $50

100 Yard Dash (Ages 2-8) - $20 per child

AWARDS

The 5K will be a chip TIMED EVENT and we will have awards to recognize our top male and top female finishers! 

T-SHIRTS

The deadline for early registration is May 1, 2017. Those who register by the deadline will receive a t-shirt. After that, t-shirts are available while supplies last.

Sponsorship Tier 1: $300

Includes: Business name or logo printed on event T-shirt, Free registration for one adult to the Heroic Hearts 5K. 
 
Sponsorship Tier 2: $500

Includes: Business name or logo printed on event T-shirt, Free registration for two adults to the Heroic Hearts 5K, Social Media and Email blasts directing traffic to sponsor website or FB page, Sponsorship recongnition day of event, opportunity to include marketing material in race packages for all participants (material must be provided by the sponsor), featured as sponsor in all "Thank you" messages
