St. Rose of Lima Feast Day 5K run & 1 mile fun walk

The race will begin and end at St. Rose Catholic Church located at 603 S. Main St., Wilmington, IL.  All runners will be timed as they make their way through the friendly neighborhood streets of Wilmington.  All racing surfaces are both paved roads and flat surfaces.  This course is mainly flat and fast!

• Timed events:  5K Run & Run/Walk to begin at 8:00 a.m.
• Untimed event:  1 mile fun run or walk to begin at 8:15 a.m.
• Packet pickup and late registration:  Friday, August 23rd, 5-7 pm, St. Rose School, 626 S. Kankakee St., Wilmington, IL or Saturday, August 24th, beginning 8:00 a.m.
• No refunds or transfer of registration fees.
• Overall awards to top male and female and top finishers in age appropriate categories for 5K event. 1 mi fun walk participants will receive a participation medal.
• Race starts and ends at St. Rose of Lima Parish, 603. S. Main St., Wilmington, IL.
• Register by August 1st to be guaranteed a race t-shirt.  Registration fee increases on August 1st.  

Parking is available across from the Church and St. Rose School.  Additional parking is located in front of Wilmington Middle School just a short walk from St. Rose.   

For safety reasons bikes, skates, skateboards and pets are NOT allowed on the race course. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome for the fun walk.
